Michael P. Morrison, 25, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his residence in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Michael worked at Omni Source and attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was drafted by the Phillies in the 45th round while a senior in high school where he was a Louisville Slugger All American and three time all state player. A graduate of Bishop Luers High School, he played basball for the Gulf Coast Commodores, the University of Louisville Cardinals and the Indiana Bulls. He loved animals and his many pets included three pigs. He was a hard working, salt of the earth kind of guy who loved his family. They loved him in return and will miss him forever. Surviving are his parents, Randy and Jacqueline (Main) Morrison of Fort Wayne, sister, Amy Morrison of Fort Wayne, sister, Angela Linkhart of Omaha, NE, grandmother, Sharon Main of Fort Wayne, grandfather, Ian Morrison of Angola, aunt, Judy (Bruce) Bennett of Fort Wayne, uncle, Mike (Stacy) Main of TX, uncle, Robert (Chris) Morrison of TX, aunt, Sally Harmes of Angola, cousins, Matt Bennett, Rhonda Roberts and Lauren Roberts. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Main and grandmother, Ardenell Morrison. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 1470 Maplecrest Road Tuesday, June 25, 2013 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 4:30 pm.
