J. "Jay" H. Bueter, 82, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked in Business Finance with Kitch Finance, retiring in 1995. Prior he worked with Bueter-Sauter Market until 1952. He was a member of American Legion Post 82, and Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Elaine H.Bueter of Fort Wayne; sons, Joseph (Juanita) Bueter of Yellowstone, WY, John Bueter of Fort Wayne, and James (Kierstin) Bueter of Bluffton; brother, Thomas (Mary) Bueter of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Laura, Jay, Cassidy, Kira, Nathan, Nicholas, and Sarah. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard H. and Grace J. Bueter. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive with calling one hour prior, Rev. Thomas Shoemaker, and Fr. Paul Bueter officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with Rosary at 8:30 p.m. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
