Ella (Lawson) Hanchar, 90, passed away Wednesda y June 6, 2012 , at St. Anne Home. Born in Payne, OH, Ella was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Bultemeier of San Diego, CA and Nada Edwards of Irvine, CA; niece, Ellen (Derek) Yager of Ft. Wayne; nephews, Bill Lawson, Thomas Hazelett both of Fort Wayne, Jack Lawson and Al Lawson both of Payne, OH; along with many loving nieces, nephews, great-grandnieces and great-nephews, of whom she was very fond. She is also survived by her companion, Eugene Tigges. Ella was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Hanchar; sister, Winifred Schaefer; and brothers, Dick Lawson and Clare "Bud" Lawson.
Funeral service is 10 am Saturday, June 16, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 5 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are up to the Donator. A memorial celebration will also be held later in October.
