Dolores W. Longardner, 87, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. Born March 23, 1925 in Fort Wayne, she was a 1943 graduate of South Side High School. Dolores was secretary to the President at First Federal Savings and Loan, retiring in 1988. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed painting. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Joseph B. Longardner, sons, Scott J. (Vickie) Longardner, and Craig T. Longardner both of Fort Wayne, grandsons, Brian S. (Sara) Longardner, Kent S. (Jennifer) Longardner, Joseph S. Longardner, and Jacob K. Longardner, great grandchildren, Drew A. and Tessa C. Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Frederick Kiel. Service is 10 a.m. Friday January 18, 2013 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Gallery or The Towne House Employee Gift Fund.
