Nancy F. Davis, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Nancy was a member of The Chapel and volunteered at St. Vincent. She owned the Davis Family Restaurant in Markle and worked as the head chef at the L.S. Ayers Tea Room. Nancy enjoyed quilting, sewing, music, and traveling. She was a devoted mom and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her three sons, Gene Davis and Lonnie Powell both of Fort Wayne and Kenneth (Susan Towne-) Powell of Ossian, IN; four sisters, Charlotte (Ed) Masters of Fort Wayne, Cleo Gonzalez of Westville, IN, Susie (Bob) Mowan of Fort Meyers, FL and Janet (Steve) Shockney of Fort Wayne;10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by husband, Donald E Davis; son, Anthony Powell; father, Darlene "Dar" Bermes; mother, Naomi Bermes; brother, Charles William Bermes; and sister, Mary Ann Bermes. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road S. with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling at The Chapel, Monday, April 2, 2018, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
