Willis "Bill" C. Colburn, Major, USAF Retired, 96, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Born in Addison, NY he graduated from Cornell University and spent 25 years in the Air Force before retiring from General Telephone. He served in the Phillipines during World War II and also served in Korea and Vietnam during the war. He ended his service to our country at the Pentagon. He is survived by his sons Chriss of Avilla, IN, Lance of Union, OR, Wayne (Karie) of Marietta, GA, Glenn of Fort Wayne, and daughter Claire (Richard) White of Fort Wayne, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Anna, sister Frances Baker, son George and granddaughter Katheryn. Service is 2:00 pm, August 13, 2018 at - D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Calling also at the funeral home Sunday, August 12, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
