William O. "Bill" Wright, 77, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bill was the son of the late Evan Wright and Mildred Russell. Bill graduated from North Side High School class of 1959. He worked with Tokheim Corp. for 41 years, prior to his retirement. Bill had a hilarious yet corny personality. He loved talking and joking with others on a daily basis. He was a member of the UAW 1539. Surviving are his children, Timothy Wright, Thomas (Pat) Wright, Randy Wright all of Fort Wayne, Bob (Christy) Wright of New Haven, Ed (Tammie) Wright of Angola; grandchildren, Katelynn (Derek) Smith, Taelar (Austin) Clark, Blake (Mindy Loshe) Wright, Andrew Wright, Allison Wright, Nicholas Wright; four great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, Nellie Ramer of Fort Wayne, and Carol Bullock of Churubusco. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Wright; daughter, Bethann Wright; siblings, Evan Wright, Phillip Palmer, Eva Mueller; and grandson, Adam Edward Wright. Service is 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling at the funeral home Monday, October 9, 2017, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association. As Bill would say, "Hey, did you hear the one."
