Virginia G. (Meier) Roth, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 8, 2017. She was born November 9, 1923 in Swanton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Roth, parents, Alfred and Grace Meier, sister, Phyllis Meier, and a special sister-in-law, Cleo Roth. For 10 years, Virginia started Missionary Churches in Hawaii and has been a promoter of missions wherever she has served. Virginia attended Fort Wayne Bible Institute and Defiance College where she received degrees. She received a MA degree in Christian Education from Wheaton College. She served as Christian Education Director of the Fort Wayne First Missionary Church. Virginia was a long time member of the Grabill Missionary Church where she taught a special needs Sunday School Class for many years and sang in the Senior Saints Choir. Virginia enjoyed her experiences with family, neighbors, and friends. Ellis and Virginia enjoyed traveling in 35 different counties. Early in her life, she sang in the Meier Trio with her two sisters. Virginia married Ellis Roth (Berniece-deceased) in 1962 and assisted him in parenting his four sons. Virginia is survived by her sister Carolyn Patricia Meier, four sons, David (Nancy) Roth, Philip (Ann) Roth, Paul (Joyce) Roth, and James (Deborah) Roth, 10 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Grabill Missionary Church,13637 State St. Grabill, IN with calling one hour prior and Rev. William Lepley officiating. Calling also Friday, July 14, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Grabill Missionary Church. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery.
