Thomas Edward Christlieb, of Huntertown passed away on Thursday, August 9, at the age of 84 from cancer. Born in Lapel, Indiana in 1933, He was preceded in death by his father Harry L. Christlieb, mother Rosella Nichols, and two brothers, Larry and Danny Christlieb. A graduate of Northside High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1952 and served in the Korean War. Upon entering civilian life, he spent 20 years working for ITT, another 20 years for Xerox, and 11 years for U.S.S.I retiring in 2006. In 1952, he married Roberta J. Lane and recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife Roberta, son Thomas R. Christlieb of Fort Wayne, daughter Susan C. (Dan) Tom of Fort Wayne, son Gary E. (Melissa) Christlieb of Culver, in addition to 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grand children. Service will be at 2:30 pm, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with Reverend Tim Dale officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, Friday, August 17, 2018, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
