Steven Lynn Weaver, age 61, passed away peacefully in his home on December 24, 2017. He was born in Huntington and raised in Sweetser, Indiana by the late Floyd and Betty Weaver. Steve faithfully attended church at The Chapel and enjoyed spending time with those he loved, especially his grandchildren. He was a die hard fan of Hoosier basketball, the Green Bay Packers, military novels, golf, and travel.
Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Weaver of Fort Wayne; children, Heidi (Shawn) Tarr of Fort Wayne, Ryan (Kayla) Weaver of Wabash, Nicholas Weaver of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Dawson, Madison, Lillian, Raven, Adallyn, and McKenzie; brother, Roy (Marilyn) Weaver of Muncie; nieces, Jennifer Weaver, Caren Katuin; and great-niece, Maya Cotton. He was preceded in death by grandson Clayton Tucker.
Services for remembering Steve will be held at The Chapel (2505 W. Hamilton Road S.) from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. on Tuesday, Jan. 2. 2018 His Funeral will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at The Chapel, with a calling one hour prior.
