Steven G. Love , 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 21, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Steven graduated from New Haven High School in 1968 and Sam's Technical Institute. He worked as a systems engineer with Raytheon for 39 years, retiring in 2013. Steven was a member of Aboite Lutheran Church. He was a past chairman of the Emmanuel Lutheran School Board and facilitated the National Marriage Encounter. He taught Sunday School and was active with his small Bible study group. Steven enjoyed geneology, playing golf, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, cooking, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Kaye Love of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lori Ann Love of Magnolia, DE; step-son, Travis (Janel) Manwaring of Zionsville, IN; step-daughter, Casey (Troy) Weimer of Rome City, IN; grandchildren, Whitney, Briana, Paige, Shayna, Jaidyn, Aislynn, Reagan & Brinley; great-granddaughter, Vannah; brother, Robert G. (Susan) Love of New Haven, IN; sister, Marsha Lortie of New Haven, IN; sister, Jo Ellen (Steve) Schaadt of New Haven, IN; brother-in-law, John (Christine) Mannan; and many beloved and nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his son, Scott Love; and his parents, Robert and Audine Love. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd with calling one hour prior. Calling also Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Allen County Heart Association; or Visiting Nurse. To sign the online guest book, go to
