Steven Charles Redding, 64, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steven was the son of the late Forest and Jane Redding Sr. He graduated from North Side High School and was on their swim team. Steven was a dynamic salesman that would do anything for his clients. He owned Redding Grocery for many years and most recently was a car salesman with Kelley Chevrolet for 13 years, retiring in 2016. Steven was an avid Skydiver, having jumped over 1000 times from many popular locations. He also enjoyed going on cruises, watching car racing, and was a Corvette enthusiast. He loved his family and cherished his two daughters. He was a member of the Fort Wayne Corvette Club. Surviving are his daughters, Alexandria Redding of Nashville, TN, Alysse (John) Weaver of Brentwood, TN; brother, Forest Redding, Jr. of Ridge Manor, FL; nieces, Rebecca (Sean) Redding Parry, Jennifer (Aaron) Harmon, and best friend, Jamie Tomlinson . Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Redding, and nephew, Michael Redding. Service is 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 24, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling from 12:00 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice, Arena Dinner Theater, 719 Rockhill St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, or Patrick Muhler Memorial Fund.
