Stephen Ignace II, 72, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Derby, CT, Stephen worked as a software engineer with Raytheon for 46 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of Purdue Alumni. Stephen received his bachelors from Indiana Tech, then attended Purdue University where he received his Master's Degree. He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed drawing, building model rockets, and reading. Surviving are his children, Richard (Teresa) Ignace of Johnson City, TN, Angela Christine Ignace and Matthew David Ignace both of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Joseph, Abigail, Simeon, and Lucas; former spouse, Joyce Ignace of Fort Wayne; and former spouse, Shirley Ignace of Fort Wayne. Stephen was preceded in death by father, Stephen James Ignace, MD and mother, Veronica Theresa Ignace RN. Service is 11:00 am, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with Pastor Todd Eckardt officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, Friday, December 1, 2017, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
