Stephen Charles Royer , 65, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born in Kenton, Ohio on December 6, 1951, Stephen was the son of the late Paul and Virginia Royer. He worked with Manchester Metals LLC for 20 years prior to his retirement. Stephen was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa to his family. He was an avid NASCAR, Dallas Cowboy, and Willie Nelson fan. He was a very active in his family's lives and will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cindy Royer; children, Vanessa (Gary Jr.) Clevenger of Rochester, IN, Heath (Stephanie) Murphy of Belle Center, OH, Drew (Haley) Royer of Kimmel, IN, Timothy Royer of Bell Fountain, OH; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; siblings Ronald (Patty) Royer of Tampa, FL, and Marie (Jack) Orders of Bell Center, OH. Stephen was preceded in death by siblings, Dolores Rockhold and Rita Klinger. Celebration of Life Service will be 2 pm, Monday, September 11, 2017 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd, with calling one hour prior, Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
