Shyann R. Bates, 16, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Fort Wayne, on September 2, 2002 to David Bates and Kathy Kuehner. She attended Wayne High School. Shyann had a smile that lit the room. She had a heart of gold and loved her family. She enjoyed playing soccer and pulling pranks. Shyann loved frogs and the color purple. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones. Survivors include her parents; David Bates and Kathy Kuehner of Fort Wayne, grandparents; Mark (Jennifer) Christlieb, grandmother; Shirley Moore both of Fort Wayne, Siblings; Christopher Main, Cortney Bates, Breanna Kuehner, and Jessican Bates all of Fort Wayne, Nephew; Jaxson Kelly, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:00pm with calling one-hour prior from 12:00-1:00pm at Mungovan Simple, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802.
