Sharon "Shari" L Closson, 67, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born in Sturgis, MI, Shari completed her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Ball State University. She worked as a Registered Nurse with Parkview Randallia for 38 years. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Joseph Closson of Kimmell, IN; mother, Mary Ann Miller of Sturgis, MI; daughter, Ann (Dave) Musser of Fort Wayne; son, Joe (Kelsey) Closson of Fort Wayne; 6 loving granddaughters, Tiffany Musser, Lindsey Musser, Ashley Musser, Caroline Closson, Rose Closson, and Maggie Closson all of Fort Wayne; brother, Gary (Judy) Miller; sisters, Donna (Bruce) Marvin, Doris (Rick) Bogen, Sandy (Bruce) Carls; and numerous nieces and nephews. Shari was preceded in death by her father, John MIller. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd with calling one hour prior. Calling also Friday, July 21, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
