Sarah Jane Carmona (McGrath), 78 years old, a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died surrounded by family at her home on Monday, October 15, 2018.
She was born to George and Collette McGrath (ne: Freistroffer). She grew up in Fort Wayne and attended St. Jude Elementary and Central Catholic High School. She earned an Associate Degree from Purdue University. She was Executive Secretary at Magnavox Corporation and went on to become a successful entrepreneur as owner of Sarah Jane's Café.

She had an interest in Veterans' causes and showed her love of her country with her passionate patriotism. She had an inquiring mind and creative spirit which showed up in everything she touched. Her warm heart lit up the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be missed dearly.

Sarah is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel E. Carmona, her three children, Christopher Holly, Danielle Gibson (m. Ronald Gibson), Heather Holly (m. David Holland), and step sons, Chris Carmona (m. Loreal Carmona) and Anthony Carmona, brother, Tim McGrath (m. Jane McGrath), sister, Margaret Goodman (m. George Goodman), six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and step son Daniel Carmona.
Services are Saturday, October 20, 2018 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, with calling from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the funeral service. To leave an online condolence please visit www.domccombandsons.com
