Sara J. Moeller, 54, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Dave and Leoba Stratton. Sara graduated from North Side High School and IPFW. She worked as a registered nurse with Parkview Hospital and formerly taught at St. Jude School. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 29 years, Randy Moeller; their children, Tony, Andy, and LeeAnn (Ryan Taylor) all of Fort Wayne; brothers, Dan Stratton, Mike (Suzanne) Stratton, Joe (Angie) Stratton, and her sister, Leslie (Seth) Congdon all of Fort Wayne; special sister-in-law, Carolyn (Tim) Moeller; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and her beloved dog, Duke. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr with calling one hour prior. Calling also Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, with a Rosary service at 3:30 pm.
