Sally Jane Stanley, 80, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. She was born in Detroit, MI on January 3, 1936. The daughter of the late William and Ella Williams. Sally graduated from Southside High School in 1954. She went on to be one of the first female Real Estate Agents in the Fort Wayne area. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, William Stanley; children; Jennifer Mae (Jeffery I. Rosenberg) Stanley, and Jeannine (David John ) Wilkins; grandchildren, James Stanley and Emma Jane Wilkin; and sister, Shirley Rae Fisher. Sally was preceded in death by siblings; May W. Watkins, Elizabeth W. Evans, David Williams, William Gomer Williams II, Theresa Williams, Beatrice W. Shew, Donelda W. Widmann, Elinor W. Knight, and Naoma W. Kennedy. Memorial service is 4:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling 3 hours prior.
