Rose Marie Graft, 88, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. She was born in Leigh Nebraska on June 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Emil and Rosalind Grotelueschen. Rose Marie was an RN and graduated from Lutheran Hospital in 1950. Gardening, working in the yard, and cooking were the things she enjoyed most. She always had a smile on her face and never said an unkind word about anybody. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Frederick Graft; children, Susan (Charles) Farris, Karen (Randy) Einem, Sharon (Chuck) Leuenberger, Jean (Randy) Beery, Mark (Judy) Graft; grandchildren, Tracey (Robert) Lindeman, Forrest and Grant Leuenberger, Erin, Drew, and David Graft; and brother, Martin Grotelueschen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane K Graft; and 7 siblings. Funeral service will be held, Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 2:00pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation will be held Friday, February 24th, 2017 also at the funeral home from 4-7pm. Burial to take place in Concordia Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Worship For Shut-Ins, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, or Concordia Lutheran High School.
