Ronnie Lewis Wilson, 62, passed away on December 30, 2017. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 2 1955, the son of the late Lewis and Bertha Wilson. Ronnie graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. He enjoyed hockey, baseball, basketball, and bowling. He was inducted in to the Bowlers Hall of Fame in Missouri, having bowled two 300 games. Ronnie was an avid Chicago sports fan, and also enjoyed cars. Ronnie was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He retired from General Motors, and after retirement went on to work for Aging & In-Home Services, delivering meals to the elderly. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports, and making memories with them. Ronnie was a recipient of a liver donation in 2000 of which his family and himself were very thankful for over the past 17 years. Surviving are his wife of 37 and a half years, Eileen Wilson; children, Brian (Arika) Wilson, Anne Marie Wilson, and Mathew Wilson; grandchildren, Oliva, Mariha, Carter, Sean, Elly, Jasmine, and Lauren Wilson; sisters, Debbie Cundari, and Deann (Bill) Nambo. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Wilson. Funeral service will be held at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815 on Friday, January 5, 2017 at 10AM with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2017 from 4-8pm. Burial will take place in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Arlington Elementary Playground Fund.
