Ronald V. Mausser, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Ronald was the son of the late Rudolph and Florence Mausser. He earned his bachelors degree from the University of Dayton and his masters degree from Purdue University both in Electrical Engineering. Ronald was a electrical and systems engineer with Raytheon for 42 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he served on the committee for Haiti, parish council, a lector and Eucharistic Minister. Ronald enjoyed walking at the zoo, praying with anyone at anytime, and being a member of Overeaters Anonymous. Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Mausser of Fort Wayne; children Sr. Judith Mausser DC of Paris, France, Matthew (Alison) Mausser of Marysville, OH, Sarah (Jason) Hixon of Oswego, IL; grandson, Lucas Hixon; siblings, Ann Marie (Dennis) Derbin of Independence, OH, and Ralph Mausser of Delaware, OH. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with calling one hour prior, Fr. Phillip Widmann officiating. Calling at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1101 S. Lafayette Friday, June 23, 2017, 5 pm - 8 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Soup Kitchen. D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
