Rodger P. Rang, 59, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Rodger was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School and later completed his Bachelor of Science Degree from IPFW. He spent his entire career as a Medical Technologist in the laboratory at Lutheran Hospital. An avid birder, Rodger could often be found at Eagle Marsh or Fox Island, binoculars up, looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Nannette Rang; daughter, Mariesa Rang; father, Rodger A. Rang; brother, John (Diana) Rang; sister, Robin (Lee) Biddle all of Fort Wayne; and sister, Kristy (Rod) Bradley of Columbus, OH. Rodger was preceded in death by mother, Catherine Rang. An open house gathering of family and friends will be Friday, September 22, 2017 from 4pm - 8pm at Sonrise Church at Aboite, 10125 Illinois Rd. Casual attire is welcome.
