Robin Falzone has left us to volunteer in heaven. Robin, 74, was born in New York City, and grew up on Long Island. In 1977, she and her three children moved to Florida; and in 2015 she and her son, Bill, bought land in Leo and built their "retirement home." Actually retirement is a word that does not fit Robin. She was a bundle of enthusiastic energy and gave her all to many volunteer causes. She spent much of her adult life volunteering with elementary school children, the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society and local hospitals. Robin was also a 40 year saleswomen for Avon. A most loving mother, she devoted her life to caring for her son who was injured in an accident many years ago. Recently she and her Chihuahua, Angel, who served as a therapy dog, have been visiting local nursing homes. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood and attended County Line Church of God in Auburn. Robin is survived by her son, Bill, daughters Debra (Jeff) Poe and Lori (Michael) Nelson both of Florida, granddaughter Jennifer Wrublevski, and great-granddaughter, Ivoree Richardson of Virginia, grandson Jarod Poe of Florida; her brother Bruce (Kari) Cynar, niece Ingrid (Kent) Herriott and their son Joe, nephew Garret (Frances) Cynar of Plano, Texas. Service will be 6:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at D.O. McComb and Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd, with calling from 4:00 pm until the service. Pastor Steve Schlatter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by Robin.
