Robert "Bob" Olinger, 84, passed away on December 11, 2017. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 15, 1933, the son of the late Leo and Edith Olinger. Bob attended Purdue University, where he obtained his degree in pharmacology. He worked until retirement at Walgreens. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Fran Olinger; children, Daniel L. (Cheryl) Olinger, Dr. Timothy (Julie) Olinger, and Mark A. (Marie) Olinger; sister, Mary Bear; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior. Burial to take place at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
