Richard F Pulse, 68, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in Fort Wayne. The first born of 6 to his parents in New Castle, IN, Richard was a lifetime resident of Fort Wayne, IN. Richard was in the first graduating class at Bishop Dwenger High School in 1967. He served in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam combat veteran. Professionally, he was the president and CEO of several businesses, including: Kendall and Davis Inc, Black Box, and Team PC which provided computers to veterans in need. He was an avid angler, hunter, and gatherer. He taught so many to love the natural world and, when fishing, to always, "keep a tight line." He was a true friend and mentor and left an impression on everyone he met, many of whom recall his electrifying smile. When the woods wasn't calling him the open road was; his Harley Davidson was pure freedom for him and his riding brothers and friends. Many a drink can be toasted to that. He would often say that when it was his time, he would be, "coming in fast and sliding into the grave sideways - I don't plan on lookin' pretty." Richard loved his wife and children and spent time fishing and exploring life and the outdoors with each of them. Surviving are his wife, Sara E Pulse of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Tina (Ryan) Fick of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Tyler Pulse of Fort Wayne, IN; siblings, Lora (Vince) Orr of Fort Wayne, IN; Cheryl Bills brother, David (Delicia) Pulse of Naples, FL; Carol (Rick Raichel)) Audritsh of Bradenton, FL; Lesslie Pulse of Bradenton, FL and X nieces and nephews .
