Raymond C. Zuleger, 76, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, Raymond was the son of the late Edward and Mary Ann Zuleger. Raymond served the country that he loved for 26 years in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Master Sergeant. He met his wife to be Federica, while being stationed in Italy. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage together. He worked with Magnavox for over 20 years prior to his retirement. His hobbies included stamp collecting, photography, fishing, genealogy, being outdoors and grilling in the summer, rooting for the Cubs and Bears, along with being involved with his children and grandchildren's lives. He was a loving husband, dad, and Nonno to his family. Surviving are his wife, Federica Zuleger of Fort Wayne; children, Frederick Zuleger of Huntertown, Monica (Christopher) Schiel of Fort Wayne, Michelle (Brett) Meadows of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Katherine, Kevin, and Jessica. Raymond was preceded in death by his siblings, Patti, Ruth Koras, and Albert Zuleger. Service is 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior, Pastor Bill Mueller officiating. Calling at the funeral home Saturday, February 11, 2017, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
