Raymond C. Buescher, 95, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Born in Poe, Indiana, Raymond was the son of the late Fred and Anna Buescher. He graduated from Central Catholic High School. Raymond was a WWII Navy veteran. Raymond owned and operated his own farm for many years. He had a strong faith in God, loved his family, and enjoyed playing euchre, and dominoes. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Surviving are his children, Charles (Linda) Buescher of Churubusco, Robert (Monica) Buescher of Fort Wayne, Patrick (Kathy) Buescher of Chebanse, IL, Lawrence Buescher of Milford, MI, Michael (Chris) Buescher of Indianapolis, Joanne Kessen of Gibsonburg, OH, Donna (Ron) Geabler of Canton, OH, Mary (Ray) Krouse of Wolcottville, Linda (John) Simon of Greenwood; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Gerard Alter of Louisville, KY. Raymond was preceded in death by his first wife Rita Buescher, second wife, Delores (Sorg) Buescher; daughter, Janet Alter; brothers Charles, Leo, and Phillip Buescher, Sisters, Bernice, Richilda, Mildred, Justine, Bernice; sister Angeline Camp, Ruth Buescher, and infant sister Dolores Buescher. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Monday, August 14, 2017 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road Sunday, August 13, 2017, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
