Randy J. Longardner, 61, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Randy worked for Tokheim for many years prior to his retirement. Randy had the biggest heart in the world and would help anyone in need. He had a particular interest in motorcycles, eagles and coin collecting. He loved his family and cherished his time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his father, Ned (Martha) Longardner of Churubusco; children, Anthony J. Longardner of Fort Wayne, Jason Longardner of IL, Jared Longardner of Roann, Matthew Longardner of Fort Wayne, Justin Longardner of KY, Ronald (Brenda) Johnston of Quincy, MI, James Johnston of Columbia City, Rachel Longardner of Fort Wayne, Amelia Longardner of Leo;14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Longardner, and Lori (Ken) Lucido. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Tucker, and wife, Tonda Longardner. Service is 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. Calling at the funeral home Monday, January 30, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
