R. Joseph Williams, 81, peacefully passed away on August 15, 2017. He was born in Sidney, MT on December, 11, 1935, the son of the late Roger and Mildred Williams.
He married Elizabeth on April 15, 1955 in Minneapolis, their years of marriage took them many places throughout the U.S., including, La Salle, IL, Cedar Rapids, IA, Salt Lake City, UT, Louisville, KY, and for the past 45 years, Fort Wayne, IN. He retired from Sprout-Waldron in 2002. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, spending time with his family, photography, and his computer.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Williams; children, Susan (Chad) Reichert, Michael (Linda) Williams; Linda (Joe) Griffin; David Williams; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie (Jerry) Frost.
Memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 4pm before the memorial service.
