Philip K. Cole. 61 passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Harold Wendell and Phyllis Beatrice (Cole) Cooper. Philip was a lifetime resident of Fort Wayne, until moving to Auburn WA. after retirement. He graduated from Oakland Community College.
Philip was an Engineer and Quality Control Manager for DANA in the R&D/Samples group for 18 yrs and retired from DANA in 2007.
Philip's joys in life most of all was his kids. He enjoyed Friday night racing and Avilla Raceway and watching weekend football games with his family
He is survived by his loving wife Dianna Cole of Auburn WA; Two children; Daughter: Teressa Cole of Butler, IN and Son: David Cole (Caresse) of Auburn, IN and Grandson Lucas Strachan.
Sister: Suzanne Mohr (James); Brothers: Michael Cole (Donna); Alan Cole (Sue); Larry Cole (Peggy); Donald Cole; Scott Cole (Jacque).
He loved all of his Nieces and nephews.
Philip was proceeded in death by his Mother Phyllis Cooper; Father Harold Wendell Cole; Brother Timothy Cole; Nephew Jason Cole.
A Celebration of life will be 3:00PM Saturday January 12, 2019 at D.O McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN with a gathering 2 hours prior to the Service.
Memorials may be made to (American Lung Association/IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis).
