Patti Lou Hutchins, 60, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Patti graduated from Wayne High School and received her Bachelor's degree from IPFW in both geology and education. She also received her Master of Science from the University of Southern Illinois. Patti worked as a teacher with Gary School District for 30 years. Surviving are her parents, Alvin and Marilyn Paxton Hutchins; sister, Joni (Don) Sanders of West Lafayette, IN; brother, Robert Hutchins of Fort Wayne; niece, Natalie (Jacob) Fox of Valaparaiso, IN and nephew, John (Shelby) Sanders of West Lafayette, IN. Memorial Service is 11:30 am, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Hope United Methodist Church, 6608 Hoagland Rd with calling beginning at 10:30 am.
