Patricia A. Nycum, 92, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in South Bend, IN, Patricia worked for Magnavox- Phillips Electronics retiring in 1991. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 241, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1000. Patricia spent her winters in Fort Myers, FL. Surviving are, son, Patrick M. (Rocio) Nycum of Jackson, TN, daughter, Carolyn A. Thatcher of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren . Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John N. "Jack" Nycum; parents Louis & Josie (Lynch) LaFortune. Per Patricia's request, there will be private family services. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurse Hospice. Arrangements by D.O.McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home 6301 Fairfield Ave. Ft Wayne.
