Pamela Joyce Reese Sauter, RDH, 67, Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother lost her courageous battle with mantle cell lymphoma on Friday, February 24, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Pam was born in Fort Wayne, September 23, 1949 to the late Ralph and Dorothea Wells Reese. She was a graduate of South Side High School and Indiana University School of Dental Hygiene. Pam was a registered dental hygienist and worked for 28 years at the practice of Doctor Robert Gayle DDS and 10 years for Doctor Michael Tom DDS. She was an avid reader and loved gardening, cooking, scrapbooking, IU sports, and the Chicago Cubs. She is survived by her sister Amaryllis Reese Snyder of Fort Wayne; husband of 30 years Gary Sauter of Fort Wayne, and daughter Denise Renea Barnes of Chicago, IL, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations in Pam's name be sent to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,, so we may find a cure to the cancer that took her away from us way too soon. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday 3/4/2017, calling from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service officiated by family members at 2:00 PM at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 Dupont Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. "There are things we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go." Author unknown
