P. "Douglas" Hamm, 65, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his Florida home. Born in Cedar Rapids, IA, He earned his Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America and was the Past President of the Nebraska Claims Association. Douglas was the CCO with K & K Insurance for 22 years, retiring in 2012. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen A. Hamm of Huntertown, IN; daughter, Colleen (Justin) Maloney of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Craig (Michelle) Hamm of Churubusco, IN and Dustin (Sara) Hamm of Granger, IN; grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Maloney, Ally and Ashley Pentsos, Caleb and Lucas Hamm and Elise, Audrey and Lauren Hamm; sister, Donna Foord of Idaho: brother Rick Hamm of Clarion Iowa. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Irma Hamm. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with a vigil service at 4:30 pm. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
