Ortencia VanHorn, 74, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Heritage Park Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Antwerp, OH, Ortencia worked at Zollner Pistons for 39 yrs years, retiring in 2008. She was a member St. Judes Catholic Church, Her hobbies included ceramics, music and dancing. Surviving are her children Roberto (Andrea) VanHorn of AZ; John VanHorn of Auburn, IN; Rachel (John King) VanHorn of TX; Rosie Linn (Steve Kemp) of Fort Wayne, IN; 8 grandchildren 5 brothers, 6 sisters 1 great-grandchild, 38 nieces and nephews. Ortencia was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Petra Laguna, brothers, Manuel Laguna, Bob Laguna, son-in-law, Terry Linn. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Calling Monday, October 16, 2017, from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm with a Rosary at 3:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Burial in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana.
