Olga Yurkova, age 55, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She was born on October 1, 1963 in Chisinau, Capital of the Republic of Moldova, to the late Gregory Yurkov and Nina Yurkova, and was a musical gift to the community of Fort Wayne as Principal Second Violinist of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. She dedicated her life to sharing the beauty of music, beginning her studies at the Chisinau Special Music School in Moldova and the Moscow Central Music School. Ultimately, Olga earned a Doctorate in Violin Performance from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She was a celebrated musician, touring globally throughout Europe, Asia and the United States, and winner of many international violin competitions. Olga was a loving and cherished mother and wife. She enjoyed taking walks, riding her bike and spending time at the family's Ball Lake home in Hamilton, Indiana. Survivors include husband, Alexander Klepach; daughter, Alisa Klepach; son, Emil Clepaci; and her canine companion, Vera. A visitation with Olga's family will be held Thursday, November 15, at St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church, Fort Wayne, from 4pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to an educational fund benefitting her son, Emil, via Go Fund Me – Olga Yurkova, or given during the time-of-remembrance, or sent directly to the family. Arrangements entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home.
