Monica L. Fair, 62, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, Monica was the daughter of Dorrell Millican who survives and the late Katie Millican. Monica was a surgical and lab tech with Parkview Hospital for 31 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Monica simply put was a lover of life. She enjoyed cross stitch, horseback riding, creating cards for special occasions, and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Kevin Fair of Fort Wayne, siblings, Pastor Michael (Susan) Millican of Florida, Gary (Wendy) Millican of Georgia, David (Becky) Millican of Florida, twelve nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. Monica was preceded in death by her brother Tony Millican. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling from 12 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation 7301 Georgetown Road Suite 113 Indianapolis, IN 46268.
