Michael L. Serrani, 82, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Michael was the son of the late Frank and Isabel Serrani. He graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School of Utica NY. Michael worked for Catholic Charitees in Fort Wayne with the Peter Pan project for Cuban High School refugees. He later retired from his own wood manufacturing business, Serrani Inc. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Julie Serrani nee Pequignot of Fort Wayne; his children, Laura (Mark) Roberts of Noblesville, IN, Bridget (Steven Habig) Serrani of Fort Wayne, Francis (Janice) Serrani of Fort Wayne, Monica (Jason) Leffler of Indianapolis, IN, Joseph Serrani of Bangkok, Thailand, Vincent (Rachel) Serrani of Fort Wayne, and Theresa (Arthur Wahlberg) Serrani of Wakefield, MA; 20 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings, Frank Serrani, Patricia Tedesco, Helen Klotz, Raymond Serrani, Geraldine Heino, Kathleen Olson, Letitia Serrani, and Edwin Serrani. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 South Fairfield Ave, with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary service at 7:00 pm.
