Michael E. Reckeweg, 68, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, Michael was a supervisor with the Indiana Dept. of Transportation for 25 years. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and had graduated from St. Francis University. Michael was an avid ND fan who was easy going and enjoyed the simple things. Surviving are his wife, Katie O'Hara of Fort Wayne; step-children, Michelle (Cory) Rodgers of Fort Wayne, Robert Goff III of Linden, IN, and Jay (Rebecca) Palmer of Fort Wayne; and step-grandchildren, Piper and Dade. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Reckeweg; and brother, Bill Reckeweg. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 2120 S.
