Merlyn V. Crabill , 93, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Hoagland, IN, to the late Roy and Bessie (Ainsworth) Crabill. Merlyn worked as a Welder/Manager with American Steel Supply for 41 years, retiring in April 20, 1990. He was a member of Leo United Methodist Church, Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Velma Crabill of Leo; sons, Larry (Carol) Crabill of Maumelle, AR, Darrell (Jan (deceased)) Crabill of Leo, Steve (Linda) Crabill of Avilla; Tom (Sandy) Crabill of Fort Wayne; daughters, Sue (Ted) Jansen of Fort Wayne; Sara (Jeff) Hudson of Leo; Linda (Rick) Gerig of Spencerville, 20 grandchildren,; 27 great-grandchildren. Merlyn was preceded in death by four sisters. Funeral Service is 10:00am, Thursday, May 24, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with Rev. Ted Jansen, officiating. Calling also Wednesday from 3 - 5pm and 6 -8pm at the funeral home. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Leo United Methodist Church.
