Melvin E. Donahue, 88, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. Born in Cass County, IN, Melvin served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked with Penn-Central (Conrail) Railroad. He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Angola, IN. Surviving are his daughter, Peggy Ankenbrandt of New Haven, IN, son, Michael (Debby) Donahue of Land O' Lakes, FL,daughter, Anita (Dan Duffek) Jauregui of Columbia City, IN, daughter, Brenda Moulton of Fort Wayne, IN, daughter, Nancy (Mark) Grand of Hoagland, IN, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and sister, Betty Sites of Galveston, IN. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Louella Donahue, parents, Cappie and Ethel Donahue, daughter, Janet Gibbs, and 1 grandchild. Service is 10:30 am, June 7, 2018 at - Mungovan Simple 2114 S. Calhoun Street with calling an hour prior. Calling at the funeral home, Wednesday, June 6, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
