Maxine Troutner Evans died September 13, 2017 in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born June 21, 1913 in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, Indiana to Will & Edra Dellinger, and lived to be 104 years old. Maxine was a homemaker until her children were in school. She then returned to work, eventually retiring from the Allen County Clerk's office. Maxine enjoyed dancing at the Senior Dance Club, where she made several friends and played many rounds of Euchre. She loved having her family home for weekends and holidays. Maxine is preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde O. Troutner, and her second husband, Richard Evans, three sons, Tom, Bill and Max Troutner, and her daughter, Sue Shirk. Maxine is survived by her three daughters-in-law Mary K. and Jeanette Troutner both of Fort Wayne, Shirley Troutner of Monroeville, and son-in-law Jim Shirk of Auburn, 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 35 great-great grandchildren. Service is at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday September 19th at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Monday, September 18th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Burial immediately following funeral at Highland Park Cemetery on 2403 E. Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne.
