Mary M. Bennett, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her home in New Haven. Born in Willshire, OH, Mary had worked at Phelps Dodge, Salem United Church of Christ, where she had been a member, and New Haven High School. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Pankow of Pewaukee, WI and Sharon (David) Filler of Aiken, SC; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Dailey of Ft. Wayne, Charles (Ilene) and David Dailey, both of Berne, IN; sisters, Alma Kable, Katherine Bair, both of Fort Wayne and Marjorie Dodane of Kingman, AZ. Mary was preceded in death by husband, Max E. Bennett; parents Stanton and Margaret Dailey; and brothers, Thomas and Stanton Dailey Jr. Service is 3 pm, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling starting at 1 pm. Calling also from 4 to 7 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Private burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
