Passineau, Mary (Haycock), age 87, passed away 01/10/2018 at Kettering Memorial Hospital in Kettering, Ohio. Mary was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 18, 1930 to the late George & Dorothy (Jones) Haycock. After graduation from South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Mary attended Albion College in Michigan where she became a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. At Albion she met and married her husband of fifty-nine years, Robert L. Passineau, who preceded her in death. Mary had two sons, Gregg Passineau, who is deceased and Brett (Kim) Passineau of Kettering, Ohio who survive her. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Passineau of Apex, NC, Nicole (Steve) Kline of Fort Wayne, IN, Brett and Matthew Salmans, and Paige Passineau, all of Kettering, Ohio. Great-Grandchildren are Riley, Nolan, and Ezra Passineau of Apex, NC, and Victoria, Alexandria, and Alivia Bell of Fort Wayne, IN. Mary was a member of Normandy United Methodist Church and the Dayton Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter. She raised and bred dogs for ten years and then due to health problems became an avid Genealogist. Mary's great attitude and positive outlook toward people and life was always refreshing. Her family will miss her smile and wonderful spirit. Private graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne, IN with D.O. McComb and Sons handing arrangements. Please send memorials to Dayton V.A.
