Mary Ann Sheets, 85, of Roanoke died Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 6:25 a.m. at The Heritage of Huntington. She was born on April 22, 1932 to the late Henry and Marie Rose. Mrs. Sheets was a graduate of Union City High School, Union City, Michigan. She retired from Royal Lace Packaging in 1982. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 160 in Roanoke, IN. She attended The Chapel in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and being outdoors with her flowers and watching the birds. She also had a passion of helping others, especially her family. She married Annan Sheets in 1952. He preceded in death on August 9, 1996. Mrs. Sheets is survived by three children, Michael (Janet) Sheets, Sue (Randy) Porter both of Roanoke and Judy (Stan) Neuenschwander of Marion; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Jim (Pauline) Hart of N. Adams, MI; several nieces and nephews; and one ornery kitty, Lynx. Service is 10:00 am, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at - D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with Rev. Rick Hawks of the Chapel officiating with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling at - D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, Friday, February 2, 2018, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
