Marvetta G. Myers, 78, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. Born in Battle Creek, MI. Marvetta retired from United Express Systems. She received the Superior Public Service Medal from the Secretary of the Navy for her part in the 1990-1991 Yellow Ribbon Campaign. Surviving are her children; Jeanne D. Huddleston of Cincinnati, OH, M. Sue (Glenn) Becker of Fort Wayne, IN, Larry C. (Lisa) Myers of Cincinnati, OH, son, Gregory A. (Vickie) Myers of Fort Wayne, IN, Michael E. (Carolyn) Myers of Cincinnati, OH, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and sister, Pam Gourley of Payne, OH. Marvetta was preceded in death by parents, E. Eugene and Vivian Jordan, husband, Larry Myers, and brothers, Roger Jordan, and Clyde Jordan. Service is 10:30 am, May 26, 2018 at - D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling an hour prior. Calling at the funeral home Friday, May 25, 2018, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
