Mark Allen Linville, 58, of Fort Wayne slipped into the arms of Jesus Sunday, October 15, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital. Mark was born May 10, 1959 in Indianapolis to the late Horace F. Linville and Imogene (Wood) Linville. He graduated from Carmel High School in 1977 where he was a very good athlete. He earned his bachelors degree in fine arts from Ball State University in 1982. On August 4, 1984, he married Diane (Sorlie) Linville in Fort Wayne. Mark has been employed at Lincoln Printing for the past 29 years. He was a member of Fellowship Missionary Church where he had a strong passion to help the youth and share his love for Christ. Mark also loved coaching, fishing, and spending time with his family. He will forever be remembered for his caring hugs and a kiss on the head. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Diane; daughters, Angela (Scott) Sherbahn, Alyssa (Josh Schrock) Linville; grandchildren, Lucas, Lyla, and Lily Sherbahn all of Fort Wayne; brother, Jerry (Patty) Linville of Naples, FL; mother-in-law, Bobbie Sorlie of Fort Wayne; and step-mother, Jeanne Linville of Naples, FL. Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Linville; father-in-law, Jim Sorlie and two grandchildren. Service will be 11 am, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Fellowship Missionary Church with calling from 9 am until the service, Pastors Joe Johns, David DeSelm, and Mark Mays will be officiating. Calling will be Friday, October 20, 2017, at the Church from 3 pm to 5 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Missionary Church. D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
