Margie Bienz-Smiley, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the arms of her loving daughters. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Lawrence and Julia Blessing. She married Paul Bienz and he preceded her in death in 1994. She married Robert Smiley and he preceded her in death in 2002. She graduated from Central High School and then attended Indiana Business College. She worked for Fort Wayne Community Schools and retired in 1976. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church for 53 years and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are her children, Lynn (Douglas) Knauer and Marla (Jerry) Irving; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sisters, Dorothy Lesyna and Carol Resler. Margie was also preceded in death by grandson Ryan Irving. Funeral Service 11:00 am Monday, March 18, 2019 at Trinity English Lutheran Church West Wayne Street with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Pine Valley with an Eastern Star Service at 7:00 pm.
