Margie A. Hege, 91, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at East Lake Terrace Senior Living in Elkhart, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Herbert S. and Anna Dornte. Margie worked in the accounting department at Sears Roebuck for 20 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Margie enjoyed playing euchre and dominos with friends. Surviving are her children Ted Hege of Fremont, IN; Barbara (Ernie) May of Terre Haute, IN; Beverly (Denny) Speer of Isle of Palm, SC; and Linda (Larry) Reidenbach of Lake James, IN; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Doris Emerhiser of Monroeville, IN. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence William "Bill" Hege. Service is 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd with calling two hours prior beginning at 11:00 am. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
